Enable USB Debugging on Google Nexus 10

The biggest advantage of Google launched the Nexus series of Android phone is that its factory loaded the latest Android system.Of course,Google Nexus 10 is no exception. The latest Android version, i.e. Android 5.1.1 (Android 5.0 Lollipop's update), has been released and rolled out to Nexus devices. The Nexus lineups including Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Nexus 9 and Nexus 10 are now getting the Android 5.1.1. update over-the-air(OTA).The factory image is also available if you want to flash it rather than wait for the OTA to arrive. And this article shows you how to enable USB Debugging mode on Android 5.0 Lollipop and Android 5.1.1.

Enable "Developer options"

Access App Drawer > Settings > About Phone > Scroll down to the bottom of the screen to locate the Build number > Tap Build number 7 times to become developer

Enable "USB Debugging"

Access Settings > Developer options > USB Debugging

The developer options aren't just used by developers. USB Debugging is required by adb, which is used for rooting an Android device, backing it up, installing a custom ROM, taking screenshots from a computer, or doing many other things. So it is not recommended to open the "USB Debugging" Mode all the time, only when you need.
